About Us

Ebonie Flare Models is a full service booking agency that was established by Lakesha Woods. From 1997-2003, Ebonie Flare was a division of K's Pageants Inc. Today Ebonie Flare Models is a subsidiary that falls under the umbrella of Ebonie Flare Entertainment, LLC. - which is the parent company for Ebonie Flare Models, Ebonie Flare Cosmetics & Greeting Cards. Ebonie Flare Entertainment, LLC is registered and headquartered in the State of Florida as a limited liablity company, we DBA (do business as) Ebonie Flare Models to differeniate business between our departments. We conduct business in several other states throughout the United States by obtaining City, County or State Licensure when required.

With a love for fashion and design, it was always Lakesha's desire to own a company that would someday assist models and designers get the exposure that they work so hard to achieve. Ebonie Flare's focus is on the urban markets; with an emphasis on servicing Urban Clothing Designers & Urban Fashion Houses. However, we're always happy to recieve business from the mainstream catagories as well. Our roster is expanding daily which also means that our website is updating consistently. We can provide our clients with a wide variety when it comes to model types. We have both male and female models available with many different shapes and sizes to chose from.

Ebonie Flare Models has a huge network of business associates but the core team consist of the following key people:

Lakesha Woods /Founder & CEO with 12 + yrs in various capacities of entertainment; present: Published Author, Entertainer & event producer. Lakesha is also the Publisher of Enjoy Life Magazine which is in it's 8th year of publicizing literature and it's 3rd year as an online publication.

Martha Whisby-Wells / Model Scout with 20 + years of experience in the Entertainment Industry, former Model and currently the President of Music For Souls (non-profit organization). Martha is also an Event Producer primarly in the of Miami.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide our models with satisfaction in knowing that they have a strong group of supporters standing behind them. We aim to provide our models with the necessary guidance that they need to make it in this business. Our goal is to also serve our clients with excellent customer service by providing them with mature and experienced models who will not only satisfy the mission set forth; they will also leave a lasting impression, which in return leads to another call back to Ebonie Flare!

Disclaimer

Ebonie Flare Models is a subsidiary of Ebonie Flare Entertainment, LLC. As a whole we offer administrative services to entertainers and models. We also provide event planning services. Our modeling division serves as a Model Management and Production company. We provide a service to talent buyers i.e., Casting Directors, Photographers, Fashion Designers and Promoters. We manage the incoming booking requests of our models, produce shows for our models and talent and we also find work for our models. We are not a public casting agency or employment agency. Our website is not a portfolio hosting site, this is our company's business website and the models shown here are a) contracted models with our company or b) models applying to our company.

Our decesion to invest in a model is determined on a case by case scenario. We work upfront for our models (pro bono) to manage their business as well as to develop new business for them. All models are considered to be contracted models of Ebonie Flare Models. We take pride in providing quality service.
